freeDimensional interlinks projects world-wide which offer assistance, shelter and support to artists persecuted because of their work. Annual workshops have been held on Wasan Island since 2007; here the most important actors of the freeDimensional network meet to plan and coordinate their activities.

With the support of the Breuninger Foundation freeDimensional has developed into an active and vital operative network. An annual meeting in the seclusion of the island has proved to be an essential factor for the success of an internet-based network.
